What it is

Your therapist adapts exercises, weights and repetitions to your assessment and corrects your technique. Our training room is on the ground floor, bright, and has equipment that also works well seated.

Because muscles need time, this therapy usually runs over a longer series. Many people keep training on their own afterwards – with us if they like, on a 10-visit card.

Who it’s for

  • to rebuild muscle after surgery, e.g. ACL, hip or knee replacement
  • for recurring back problems
  • for shoulder or knee instability
  • after a long illness or a period of inactivity

Your doctor decides which treatment is right for you – we are happy to advise as well.

How a session goes

  1. Introduction

First session: equipment, safety, starting weights. You get your personal training card.

  2. Warm-up

About 10 minutes on the bike or rowing machine.

  3. Training

4–6 exercises adapted to your assessment – your therapist is with you the whole time.

  4. Progress

We record every session and increase the load step by step.

Duration & frequency

60 minutes per session. With statutory insurance you train in a small group of up to three people, each with their own plan.

Usually 2 sessions per week.

Do I need a prescription?

  • Statutory insurance: yes. The prescription will say “KG-Gerät”. Only therapists with an additional qualification in suitably equipped practices may provide it – we have both.
  • Private insurance: with a private prescription.
  • Self-pay: one-to-one training or a 10-visit card after your therapy has finished.
